Urgent calls & planned work

Locksmiths & lock services

Someone locked out at 11 p.m. sees whether you answer now; someone moving in sees how rekeying works — and both see you are licensed.

What your customers need to do

What people check from the wrong side of the door.

  • Call when locked out
  • Rekey after a move
  • Upgrade a lock
  • See when you answer
  • Check your licence
  • Check your service area

Closest structure: Plomberie Exemple

It is a plumbing demo, but a locksmith needs the same skeleton: a lockout line that says when you answer, a request form for planned work, and the area you serve. Your site keeps that structure, with your services, your licences and your words.

Service area first, an honest emergency line, and a two-step quote form built from the questions asked on the phone.

What we build · Locksmiths

Lockouts, rekeying and better locks.

  • Rekeying

    Rekey or replace, explained

New owners and tenants all ask the same question. A short page says when rekeying is enough and when the lock itself should change.

  • Lockouts

    Honest hours, honest area

The neighbourhoods you reach and the hours you answer, in words. No “15 minutes anywhere” unless you can keep it.

  • Planned work

New keys, better locks, master keys

Keys after a move, lock upgrades, safes and commercial key systems go through a request form, with photos of the door and the lock on step two.

Two doors

Urgent calls and planned work, kept apart.

Lockout

Only if you really take urgent calls: one number, the hours it is answered and what you will ask for on arrival.

  • Tap to call from every page
  • Answering hours stated — never “24/7” unless it is true
  • The ID you ask for on arrival, if that is your practice

Locks & keys

Rekeying, new locks, safes and commercial key systems go through a short request.

  • Home, business or vehicle asked first
  • Photos of the lock optional, on step two
  • A request, not a confirmed visit or price

The request form

What a good locksmith request asks

For planned work only — lockouts go to the phone.

Example formExample
  • Type of workRekeying, new lock, safe, key system
  • Home, business or vehicle
  • Number of doors
  • Postal code (first 3 characters)
  • Timing
  • Photos of the lock (optional, step two)

Example only. On your site it sends a request — not a confirmed visit or price.

Québec

A licensed trade, said the right way.

  • Locksmithing is a licensed activity

Québec’s Private Security Act counts locksmith work — keying, installing and repairing locks, master-key systems, opening a door without its key — as a private security activity. The business holds a locksmith agency licence, and the people doing the work (and their immediate superior) an agent licence, both issued by the Bureau de la sécurité privée. Your site states the licences you hold, in those terms.

  • Ask for less, first

A lock request never needs a full address or a photo of a key online. The form asks for the first three characters of the postal code. The rest is settled on the phone.

  • French, as complete pages

The lockout line, the request form, its error messages and the confirmation all exist in French — written, then reviewed before launch.

Questions

Something else? Write to [email protected].

Should we say “24/7”?

Only if someone really answers at 3 a.m. Otherwise the site shows your actual hours — a promise that ends in voicemail costs more trust than it earns.

Will you show our licence numbers?

Only what you give us and confirm, in the Bureau de la sécurité privée’s terms. We never display a government logo.

Can we show a price for a lockout?

Yes, if it is your real price, with what changes it — the time of day, the type of lock. A low teaser price that grows at the door costs more trust than it earns.

We also open cars. Same site?

Yes — vehicles get their own line in the services and their own option in the form, so a car lockout is never mistaken for a house call.

Ready for a website customers actually use?

Tell us about your business and the one thing customers should be able to do. We reply with a next step — never a sales sequence.
