Urgent calls & planned work

Garage doors & openers

A door stuck open at night reaches you. A new insulated door arrives as a request with the size, the photos and the opener the owner wants.

What your customers need to do

What owners check when the door won’t move.

  • Call about a stuck door
  • Request a new-door quote
  • Compare door styles
  • Ask about an opener
  • Check your service area
  • Check your licence

Example site

The quote structure, sized for garage doors.

Closest structure: Plomberie Exemple

It is a plumbing demo, but a garage-door company needs the same skeleton: a line for the door that will not close, a request form for new doors and openers, and the area you serve. Your site keeps that structure, with your models, your photos and your words.

Service area first, an honest emergency line, and a two-step quote form built from the questions asked on the phone.

What we build · Garage doors

Repairs, new doors and openers.

  • New doors

The styles you install, as you install them

Panels, colours, windows and insulation from the lines you actually carry — with photos you hold the rights to.

  • Quote form

    An opening, measured

Width and height of the opening, single or double, insulated or not, opener or not — with a photo of the inside on step two.

  • Two doors

    Stuck doors before new ones

A broken spring or a door off its track gets the call line; a renovation project gets the form.

Two doors

Urgent calls and planned work, kept apart.

Stuck door

Only if you take urgent calls: one number, the hours it is answered and a plain safety line.

  • Tap to call from every page
  • Answering hours stated — never “24/7” unless it is true
  • The safety advice you approve, such as never touching a broken spring

New doors & openers

Replacements, new openers and maintenance go through a request with the measurements you need.

  • The size of the opening asked first
  • Photos optional, on step two
  • A request, not a confirmed date or price

The request form

What a good garage-door request asks

Enough to price a standard door — or to know it is not standard.

Example formExample
  • Type of requestRepair, new door, opener, maintenance
  • Width and height of the openingApproximate is fine
  • Single or double
  • Insulated door wanted
  • Postal code (first 3 characters)
  • Photos (optional, step two)

Example only. On your site it sends a request — not a confirmed visit or price.

Québec

Your licence, and doors through the seasons.

  • Doors have their own RBQ subclass

The RBQ’s subclass 8.0, Contractor – Doors and windows, covers construction work on doors, including motorized closures such as door openers and their opening and closing mechanisms. If your licence includes it, the site shows the number the way the RBQ requires — “RBQ licence: XXXX-XXXX-XX” — and never the RBQ logo.

  • Doors through the seasons

Cold, ice and salt are hard on springs, seals and openers. The site can lead with fall tune-ups and winter repairs — only if you offer them.

  • French, as complete pages

The door styles, the request form, its error messages and the confirmation all exist in French — written, then reviewed before launch.

Recommended

A site that shows the doors, and a request that measures them.

Can the site show door prices?

If you publish them and hold to them. Most doors depend on size, insulation and options, so the site explains how you quote and asks for the measurements instead.

Can we show the manufacturers we carry?

In words, yes. Logos and “authorized dealer” badges only when your agreement allows it and you show us.

We also do commercial doors. Same site?

Yes — a separate page and form for commercial and industrial doors, because a loading dock is not a two-car garage.

Do you guarantee more calls?

No. We make the path clearer and measure calls and quote requests. The volume depends on your market, your reputation and your prices.

Ready for a website customers actually use?

Tell us about your business and the one thing customers should be able to do. We reply with a next step — never a sales sequence.
