Urgent calls & planned work

Electricians & electrical contractors

A dead circuit gets a call, a panel upgrade gets a proper request — and customers see you are a master electrician before they dial.

What your customers need to do

What clients check before they call an electrician.

  • Call about a power problem
  • Request a quote
  • Ask about a panel or a charger
  • Check your service area
  • Confirm you are a master electrician
  • Do it in French or English

Example site

A service-call structure, wired for electrical work.

Closest structure: Plomberie Exemple

It is a plumbing demo, but an electrical contractor’s site needs the same skeleton: a line for the power-out call, a request form for planned work and the area you serve. Your site keeps that structure, with your services, your CMEQ membership and your words.

Service area first, an honest emergency line, and a two-step quote form built from the questions asked on the phone.

A Cooblink concept demo with a fictional name — not a client. Its buttons show what would happen; nothing is sent.

What we build · Electricians

Service calls, panel quotes and commercial work.

  • Quote form

    Panel, service and charger requests

Current panel size, age of the building, where the charger would go and an optional photo of the panel — what you would otherwise ask on the callback.

  • Urgent or planned

A power outage is not a renovation

Power-loss calls go to a line with the hours you answer; renovation and new-construction work goes through the form — neither waits behind the other.

  • Residential & commercial

Homes and businesses, on separate pages

A homeowner and a property manager ask different questions. Each gets a page and a form of their own, if you serve both.

Two doors

Urgent calls and planned work, kept apart.

Power problem

Only if you take service calls: one number, the hours it is answered and when to call the utility or 911 instead.

  • Tap to call from every page
  • Answering hours stated — never “24/7” unless it is true
  • The safety advice you approve, such as staying away from a downed line

Planned work

Panels, service upgrades, renovations, chargers and commercial fit-ups go through a request form built from your phone questions.

  • Residential or commercial asked first
  • Photos of the panel optional, on step two
  • A request, not a confirmed visit or price

The request form

What a good electrical request asks

Enough to know whether it is a service call, a quote or a site visit — before you call back.

Example formExample
  • Type of workPanel, outlets, charger, renovation…
  • Residential or commercial
  • Postal code (first 3 characters)
  • Age of the buildingApproximate is fine
  • Current panel100 A, 200 A, not sure
  • Timing
  • Photos (optional, step two)

Example only. On your site it sends a request — not a confirmed visit or price.

Québec

Master electrician, and it shows.

  • Electrical work is for master electricians

Under the Master Electricians Act and the Building Act, only master electricians may carry out — or have someone carry out — electrical work for others in Québec. The CMEQ issues the electrical contractor licence (subclass 16), and every master electrician is a member of the corporation. Your site says so in those words, with the licence details you confirm.

  • The CMEQ logo, not the RBQ number

The RBQ exempts CMEQ members from showing their RBQ licence number, because the corporation’s logo identifies them. We place the official logo file the CMEQ gives its members, unaltered — its standards fix the form and the colours — and never the RBQ logo.

  • French, as complete pages

The service line, the request form, its error messages and the confirmation all exist in French — written, then reviewed before launch.

Do I show my RBQ number or my CMEQ membership?

As a CMEQ member you are exempt from the RBQ display rule, because the CMEQ logo identifies you. We show the logo and the licence details you confirm — and the RBQ number too, if you want it on the page.

Can the form handle electric-vehicle charger requests?

Yes. It can ask where the car parks, how far that is from the panel and what the panel is today, with photos on step two. It does not promise a price or a date — you reply.

I do residential and commercial work. One site or two?

One site, two paths. Homeowners and property managers each get a page and a form, so a condo board never fills in a homeowner’s form.

Will this bring more calls?

We can’t promise volume. We make the path clearer and measure calls and requests, so you can see what the site actually does.

Ready for a website customers actually use?

Tell us about your business and the one thing customers should be able to do. We reply with a next step — never a sales sequence.
