Moving & storage

Customers send dates, addresses, stairs and inventory in one request — and know it is an estimate request, not a booking.

What your customers need to do

What customers send before moving day.

  • Ask about a date
  • Give both addresses
  • Request an estimate
  • Explain stairs and access
  • Ask about storage
  • Call to talk it through

Example site

Closest structure: Plomberie Exemple

It is a plumbing demo, but its structure is the one your trade needs: the area you serve, a staged quote form and a clear reply promise. Your site keeps that structure, with your own services, photos and words.

Service area first, an honest emergency line, and a two-step quote form built from the questions asked on the phone.

A Cooblink concept demo with a fictional name — not a client. Its buttons show what would happen; nothing is sent.

What we build · Moving & storage

Inventory, stairs and storage, in one request.

  • Estimate request

    Inventory, without a spreadsheet

Rooms or a short list of large items, plus fragile or specialty pieces — enough to estimate, not a full survey.

  • Access

    Stairs, elevators and parking

Floor, outside stairs, elevator booking and parking at both addresses — the details that change a move.

  • Services

    Local, long distance, storage

Each service with what it includes, and the areas you cover listed in words.

The request form

What a good estimate request asks

The answers that change a move, in the words customers already use.

  • Home size or inventory3½, 4½… or a list of large items
  • Access at both addressesFloor, stairs, elevator, parking

  • Specialty items (optional)Piano, safe, artwork

Example only. Not a binding estimate or a confirmed date: the mover replies with next steps.

Québec

July 1, and apartments the local way.

  • French, as complete pages

The estimate form, its errors and the confirmation all exist in French — written, then reviewed before launch.

  • July 1

Many Québec leases end on June 30, which makes July 1 the traditional moving day. The form asks for the date and its flexibility, so you can sort that week’s requests first.

  • Apartment sizes, the local way

Customers describe homes as a 3½ or a 5½. The form uses those words in both languages, so nobody has to translate their apartment.

Can the website give an instant price?

We advise against it: a price from an incomplete form is a promise you may not keep. The site gathers what you need for an estimate, and you reply.

Can customers book a date online?

They can request one. The date is confirmed only when you reply — and the form says so plainly.

Can you show our insurance and permits?

Only with proof you send us, in the words your documents use.

Ready for a website customers actually use?

Tell us about your business and the one thing customers should be able to do. We reply with a next step — never a sales sequence.
