Members & supporters

Associations & nonprofits

Members, donors and volunteers each find their way in — and your bylaws, AGM notice and annual report are where people look for them.

Site structure

The pages an organization needs, from mission to minutes.

There is no concept demo for this industry yet. This is the structure we would start from — your pages, services and words replace it.

  1. Home Who you are, who you serve and the four ways in: join, give, come, help.
  2. Programs What you actually run, for whom, where and when.
  3. Membership Who can join, what members get and the link into your membership platform.
  4. Events Upcoming events with the registration link, and past ones kept as a record.
  5. Documents Bylaws, AGM notices, annual reports and minutes, dated and in order.
  6. Contact & board Who to write to, and the board as your records list it.

What we build · Associations & nonprofits

Programs, events and a record you can keep.

  • Programs

What you actually do, and where

One page per program — who it serves, where it runs and how to take part — in plain words a funder and a neighbour both understand.

  • Events

Events people can find and register for

The benefit dinner, the spring clean-up, the Tuesday workshop — date, place, accessibility and the registration link, kept as a record once they are over.

  • Governance

The AGM, announced where members look

Date, place, agenda and how to attend, posted with the notice your bylaws call for — then the minutes, once adopted.

Four ways in

Join, give, come, help — each through its own door.

Each path is one sentence and one button into the platform you already use. Payments, receipts and lists stay there.

  • Join

Who can become a member, what it costs if anything, and what members get — then the button.

    Links to Your membership platform

  • Donate

What a gift supports, said plainly, and whether you issue tax receipts — never a promised outcome.

    Links to Your donation platform

  • Come to an event

Date, place, accessibility and price, if any, for each event.

Links to Your registration or ticketing tool

  • Volunteer

What help you need, when, and who answers — on a short form.

Documents

Documents, in order

One place for what members and funders look for. This is the structure — your own documents fill it.

How the record stays useful

  • Each document dated, the current one marked
  • Files you upload, or links to where they already live
  • No sample or placeholder document is ever published
DocumentsStructure only
  • BylawsCurrent version, with the date it was adopted
  • Notice of annual general meetingPosted when your bylaws say, with the agenda
  • Annual reportsOne per year, past years kept
  • MinutesOnce adopted, if your board publishes them

No document shown here is real. Your own files, or links to where they live, fill the list.

Platforms

Keep the membership and donation tools you already run.

We link your site to them and make each step clearer. We don’t rebuild them, and nothing here implies a partnership with any provider.

We connect

  • Membership and donation platforms
  • Event registration and ticketing tools
  • Your newsletter tool
  • Shared drives where your documents already live

Québec

Receipts, records and two languages.

  • Tax receipts are for qualified donees

The Canada Revenue Agency is clear: a registered charity is a qualified donee and can issue official donation receipts; a non-profit organization is not, and cannot. Your donate page says which one you are, shows a charitable registration number only if you have one and confirm it, and never implies a receipt you cannot issue.

  • French, as complete pages

Programs, the four ways in, the documents and every confirmation exist in French — written, then reviewed before launch.

  • The board, as your records show it

Board members and staff appear with the names and roles they agree to show, and change when your records do. We don’t write fundraising totals, or promises of what a gift will achieve.

Questions

We already use a membership or donation platform. Do we keep it?

Yes. Each path links into the tool you already run, so payments, receipts and member lists stay where they are. We don’t move your data.

We are a nonprofit, not a registered charity. What does the donate page say?

What a contribution supports, and plainly that no official tax receipt is issued — the CRA reserves those for qualified donees. Your accountant confirms the details for your organization.

Who keeps the documents current when the board changes?

You own the site and its accounts, and the handoff shows the next volunteer how to add a document. If you prefer, our monthly service can keep the record current.

Will this raise more money?

We can’t promise donations or members. We make each way in clearer and measure how many people reach your platforms, so you can see what the site actually does.
